Our Warranty

At Explorer Leather, we take great pride in the quality of our craftsmanship and believe our products should last for many years to come. We stand behind the quality of our work and offer a warranty against defects in workmanship.

If you believe your product has a defect resulting from our workmanship, please get in touch. Following a thorough inspection, we will determine whether the item qualifies for warranty repair or replacement. Where possible, we will always look to repair the product first. If a repair is not feasible, we may offer a replacement or shop credit.

What Our Warranty Covers

Our warranty applies exclusively to defects in workmanship. It does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, improper care, or normal use of the product.

As our products are made from natural vegetable-tanned leather, they will naturally change and develop character over time(Patina).

Our warranty does not cover the natural development of patina, including changes in the leather's colour, texture, or feel as it ages and responds to handling and everyday use. These changes are a natural characteristic of vegetable-tanned leather and are not considered defects.

The warranty also excludes general wear and tear, scratches, scuffs, accidental damage, exposure to water, sunlight, washing, or any damage resulting from improper use or care.

Making a Warranty Claim

Warranty claims must be made by the original purchaser, and proof of purchase will be required. Please provide your order number and the email address associated with your purchase.

Before returning any item, please contact us via the details on our contact page to discuss the issue. Please do not send any products back without contacting us first.

Please note that the customer is responsible for all shipping, freight, customs fees and duties associated with returning a product to us. These costs are not covered under our warranty.
