Shipping policy

Delivery is through the Royal Mail and everything is sent Tracked and signed for and is free on orders over £120. We will issue the tracking number to you once sent. 

At this time we only sell and post items with in the UK. 

Shipping Destinations & Parcel Forwarding Services

Explorer Leather is a small, independent business based in England, and at present we only ship orders to addresses within the United Kingdom.

We do not currently ship to international addresses or to parcel forwarding, freight forwarding, or mail forwarding services, including services such as VPost or similar companies.

Our decision to ship within the UK is not simply about postage. We want to maintain a high level of customer service and ensure that we can properly support every order from the moment it leaves our workshop through to delivery. This also allows us to confidently honour our product warranty and deal with any issues that may arise during the life of your purchase.

Unfortunately, we are not currently able to offer our warranty and after-sales support to international customers. International shipping and the involvement of third-party forwarding companies can make returns, repairs, replacements and warranty claims considerably more complicated and costly, and we do not feel it would be right to offer a level of service that we cannot reliably maintain.

There can also be complications if a parcel is lost, damaged, returned, or held up after it leaves the UK. Once it reaches a forwarding company, you are potentially dealing with a chain of custody that we did not originally intend to use and have no control over.

For this reason, any order placed using a parcel forwarding or similar service will be cancelled and refunded.

We appreciate that this may be inconvenient for customers outside the UK, and we hope to be able to offer international shipping in the future. For now, keeping our shipping within the UK allows us to maintain the level of craftsmanship, service and support that we believe our customers deserve.
